Friday 2nd March
.
Think I’ll have a good day
Be normal and keep sane
I think I’m feeling better
Until it hits again
Grief lurks in the shadows
A hidden, grumbling pain
Invisible to most
Tears falling in the rain
.
Always and forever
You will be my son
Fly high above the clouds
My beloved one
.

Snow still lying on the ground

We came to change your flowers, but those that are there were completely frozen in the vase

Cold and grey in the harbour
Hugs…

Amazing how that snow lingers … and frozen flowers in the vase … Mother Nature is full of mischief. Another beautiful poem Melanie.

Thank you very much.
Unfortunately I broke the glass vase today, trying to ease out the stems from the frozen water. Too impatient probably… thinking the water wasn’t such solid ice.
Never mind, we went and bought replacements, and were able to put the new flowers on display.

That’s good – who would have thought they’d be frozen solid? You have restored beauty to your son’s place of eternal rest once again.
