Early this morning
The Flying Scotsman rolls in
Across the bay, wind’s storming

A walk through the town
As gales whip up the sea
Crashing on Lambeth Walk
There’s a seal swimming free

You would have like the train
Slowly puffing along
I know you’d be humming
The Thomas the Tank Engine song

And Sammy the Seal
Would have entertained you
Playing in the waves
Just as you used to do
.
Miss you sweetie
Love you forever

So very noisy when the steam was released and the whistle blew
Porthmeor Beach this afternoon
Splashy on the slipway
Big waves hit Lambeth Walk
The Journey of My Left Foot (whilst remembering my son)
