Tuesday 13th November
.
Homeward journey begins
Our short holiday does end
Saying goodbye to
Luke and girlfriend
.
Time went fast
The trip was short
To see how they’re doing
All’s good to report
.
Through the countryside
Towards Lisbon
The sun shines down
On everyone
.
A little free time
To wander around
Then off to the airport
Flying north bound
.
And you’d have fun
My darling Angel son
Heavenly loved one
Now forever young
.

That’s very true.
Something to look forward to, and memories to look back upon.
Holidays….. A most special time.

I have recently seen an article touting Portugal as THE place to retire. I see quite a bit here, that would confirm that view.

Portugal is a great country, and we wouldn’t mind retiring here.
Many British people have settled in, and enjoy the Algarve, but there is so much more to explore.
In and around Lisbon there is so much great culture and history, terrific scenery and beaches, gastronomic delights, with accompanying alcoholic libations….. What’s not to like?

Thank you Derrick.
Even though it was our seventh visit, we still found new places to visit and explore.
